Ahem, hello everyone. I'm Zurenriri from Corona Fansubs. You are forgiven if you've never heard of us. This is our first release in more than five years. Our last web address expired, which is why we're back to using this old Blogspot account from way back when our group got started in 2008, for now anyway.
Our new project is Komachi to Dangoro, a series of four short episodes featuring the mascot characters for the city of Niigata as they search for a mysterious stone.
By watching this, you may have opened a time capsule. For those not familiar with our past releases: in terms of speed, our group was considered "average" in an era before HorribleSubs, or CR/Funi scripts. In terms of quality, probably average as well.
All I can say is that we put our heart and soul into this release and we hope that that still means something. Please enjoy the release, and look forward to the next one.
And if anyone's wondering: I doubt we will be finishing Blue Dragon. Other subbers have completed the series, and I personally feel that it would be a waste of our efforts. Akikan 12? Maybe. I don't know. Some other series? Who knows. All is uncertain. It all depends on what our barebones staff can handle, unless we find new blood.
